We love the Thames and look forward to making Harrods Wharf an integral part of it. The site has been offered to LB Richmond and Transport for London for FREE* to enable a swift resolution to the Hammersmith Bridge issue.
*Subject to planning consent and 12-18 month use
Enabling boats of all sizes to be used and allowing the community to access the site to enjoy the views of the Thames
Giving the community a resolution to the Hammersmith Bridge problem that they can be proud of and giving them use of this delightful area of the Thames
Secure and safe access with lights, steps and a disability ramp giving access to all
Not just a pontoon on the side of a dirt track but a Ferry Port between Barnes and Hammersmith with suitable and safe access, low-level lighting and facilities for people of all abilities to use
The planning application was submitted on the 4 November 2020 to LB Richmond and is awaiting validation by the planning office
Bringing an old disused Wharf back to its full natural glory and regenerating a disused part of the Thames bank and allowing the public access to the site for the first time in history to view and enjoy the Thames
"While there are many initiatives being discussed, the one that will be mobilised quickest is the ferry project. This can be started soon and will provide immediate relief to the many thousands of people who need to cross the river daily for school, medical appointments, work and leisure."

As we communicate with the organisations, public bodies and other groups interested in the project, we will keep you informed.
